Ciro Urciuolo and his wife Caterina Tammaro have stubbornly and with heart collected and relaunched the winemaking heritage of the families from which they come.

Always considered one of man’s most precious assets, wine boasts a history as ancient as it is contemporary. The Urciuolo winery handles its production this way, combining ancient winemaking techniques with the most innovative and avant-garde ones to obtain a unique product characterized by a perfect balance between flavors and aromas.
Today, the company, which is constantly developing, boasts a fruitful wine production thanks to the numerous vines managed in southern Italy and satisfies thousands of Italian and foreign customers. Ciro’s strong entrepreneurial spirit, combined with his tireless travels and accumulating of stimuli, led him to metabolize the belief that the story of Irpinia (and Campania) wines must necessarily be accompanied by the story of the wines of Southern Italy.
Wrapped in a mantle of passion, DANIMI was born. It is a family-involved company project based on twenty years of expertise in the production of wines. DANIMI ideally wants to bring together the values, flavors, and traditions of southern Italy in a single vision aimed at enhancing the excellence of these territories.
Hence, the acquisition and management of wineries in Puglia and Sicily also give rise to exclusive products and identity, which are included with wines from Campania in the DANIMI brand wines line.
The project is dedicated to what is dearest in a man’s life: his family. It is a true dedication to one’s children, from whom it takes its strength and whose initials it bears.
The products were selected with particular attention, skillfully capturing the vibrations of the traditions that distinguish each place to restore their essence through the wines.
The DANIMI line is most expressed in the crus of the Votiva project, which includes a Taurasi, an Irpinia Campi Taurasini, and an Irpinia Bianco based on Fiano, Greco, and Falanghina.
The Votive line is inspired by the cult of the goddess Mefite, bringer of abundance and prosperity, a divinity venerated in Irpinia as early as the 7th century BC, to whom the singular design of the bottles is dedicated.
VOTIVA is the name chosen for a series of projects related to the ancient devotion of the Italian people to the deities. A further part of this is the study of packaging dedicated to the goddess Mefitis, symbolizing the votive act by the producers of this wine. To create it, we researched the origins of the winery’s land. We were inspired by ancient Latin inscriptions on stone and a sculpture of the deity belonging to remote Irpinia Peoples who worshipped her.
